    3. I believe that religious affiliation of our colonial ancestors from Ulster, was greatly influenced by "availability" of choice. My earliest Stewarts, Joseph and Mary, were members of a Methodist group in Newberry, SC. I don't remember mention of Methodist churches of Ulster, 1750 -1800.
