"Jim" Stewart, 84, of Roseville, Ohio, passed away at 8:45 A.M. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 24, 1929 in Duncan Falls, Ohio, the son of the late Wilbur Ivan and Clara Mae Wharten Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was formerly employed by American Match Company as a tool and die maker. He was a accomplished carpenter and craftsman and his hobbies were building things and helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and relatives. He is survived by his wife Glenna Dale Meadows Stewart of the home, son James Wayne Stewart, daughters, Terri (Dick Rollins) Stewart, Elaine (Bob) Morgan, Sharon (the late Virgil) Moore, and Rebecca "Becki" Mumford., grandchildren Kristi, Lindsey, Adam, Amista, great- grandchildren, Claire, Nash, Zoey, Brice, Lilly, and Reese.In addition to his parents, he was preceded by sisters Stella Kennedy and Betty Thompson. Private hours and services will be held for immediate family with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville, Ohio. Donations may be made to Genesis Hospice and Pallative Care.
