Stewart, b 1807, Wife Susannah "Corley" Stewart, b1805 his sons, James P. Stewart, b1838 Charles L. Stewart, b1834 James W. Stewart, b1836 Robert E. (V.) Stewart, b1838 Benjamin J. Stewart, b 1843 William C. Stewart, b 1845 and Elizabeth Mary Stewart, b 1840. All of his sons save James P. were in the 44th Alabama Inf. during the Civil War.
