He was born Dec 18, 1841, near Mercersburg, PA. He moved with his parents to, Henry County, IL. around 1857. He is with his parents in the 1860 census in Wethersfield Township, Henry County, IL. From There I don't know. The parents apparently died between 1860 and 1870. The children moved to around Bishop$$$ Hill, Henry County, IL but John Wesley can't be found. There is a J W Stewart near Bishop Hill in Galva Township on the 1870 census who could be him but I don't know how to prove it. He was supposed to have died in Gage County, Nebraska.
