Their father may be Alexander Stewart who died about 1836 in Warren County, TN. A letter sent to the Warren County TN Court, which was received 19 Dec 1837, identifies the following heirs of Alexander Stewart (d. 1836, Warren Co. TN): Josiah Stewart & Sallie [Sarah Long] Stewart, his wife; John Stewart and Elizabeth [Long] Stewart, his wife; and George Long and Sally [Sarah Stewart] Long, his wife, all of Miller County, Missouri. Deed Book B, v. H-L, 1831-1839, Warren Co., TN, FHL 571577. A sale bill for Alexander Stewart's property (Alexander Stewart, d. abt 1836, Warren Co. TN) is found in the WPA Transcript of Warren Co. [TN] Inventories, Sale Bills, Statements, etc., Bk 1, Pts. 1 and 2, 1827-1844, pp. 156-159. Also see Tennessee Probate Court Books, 1795-1927, Warren County, Inventories, Sale Bills, Statements, etc. Bk 1, Pts. 1 and 2 [online database] on FamilySearch.     3. I don't know this Alexander but I have one maybe you have heard OF. His name is Alexander Stewart b.1711 in Pershire, Blair Athol, Scotland, M. Margret Robison?
