Page 3..Friday, February 14, 1936 The Halifax Chronicle, Halifax, N.S. James Robert Stewart Eight Island Lake, Feb. 13 - The news was received here recently by Albert E. Stewart, of the death on February 3, of his brother, James Robert Stewart, at his home in Dickinson, North Dakota. The late Mr. Stewart was 81 years of age. At the age of 23 years he left South Lochaber, his birthplace, and for several years he resided in Boston and later in St. Paul, Minneopolis. >From there he moved to Dickinson, N.D., where he joined the staff of the Northern Pacific Railway where he was employed 44 years, being retired and superannuated some years ago. Though his death was somewhat unexpected he had been in failing health for the past six months. He was prominent in the I.O.O.F. lodge and the Presbyterian church in Dickinson, from where he was buried on February 5th with Odd Fellows honors. Surviving are his wife, who was formerly Miss Annie MacEachern of Lochaber, one son, Clyde, of Bismark, N.D.; three daughters, Mabel, Clare and Ethel, all residing in the United States, one sister, Mrs. Christie A.
