The baptism of Donald Stewart in PEI on 2 May 1869 is "Daniel" Stewart. He is referred to as both "Donald Daniel" and "Daniel Donald". Funnily enough he is "Donald" on his tombstone and "Daniel" on his wife's stone. Making the linage past Alexander has been terribly difficult. I suspect the only way is going to be to look at land transfers of his land in Lot 31. I've contacted the Archives to see if they can assist.
