We have quite a bit of family history stretching back to documentation from 1130. We went to Scotland 2 years ago to do more family history work, but found a gap in the documentation directly corresponding with the English takeover and lack of local documentation for a stretch of about 100 years. (Really) We also have instructions for the Stewart plaids. You can look us up...look on our family tree for Margaret Stewart Sibley and work your way backward. BTW, we are believed to be descendants of Alexander Stewart, the wolf of Badennock. He had 30 illegimate children and a few legimate ones. He was the King's son and a real "spoiled brat" according to the documentation. We have only logged things we believe to be correct. There were quite a few James Stewart's.
