    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: shanemccurdy333 Surnames: Stewart Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.stewart/8987.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Bunny - I very much doubt that our two Stewart families are related - but you never know. If you are interested in searching out a little more detail th 1901 and 1911 Censii for Ireland are now available on-line - search under Irish Census 1911- it should be under www.census.nationalarchives.ie and hopefully you should be able to find both of your grandparents families there. Stewart is quite a common surname in Ireland, and oft times with the same surname there is no connection at all - but see how you get one; our Stewart family are from around Irvinestown/Ballinamallard in County Fermanagh, and Makenny townland is on the Tyrone border with Fermanagh, mid way between these two towns - annd thats where the Stewarts from Bracebridge came from! I hope that this may be a little help, but if you want or need any more specific assistance place cocme back to me directly. You might also want to check the Public Record Office for Northern Ireland (PRONI) who hold the Will calendars on-line for individuals from Northern Ireland www.proni.gov.uk If ypou javbe any more specifics relating to dates of birth for your grandparnets or details of their siblings etc we should be able to find them quite quickly!
