Stewart was born in Oklahoma in April of 1923. I have not had much luck on tracing his family history. If my information is correct.... His father's name was James E. Stewart, also, and he was born in Kentucky abt 1892. His mother's name was Lina Virgina (Newman) Stewart, and she was born 23 Jul 1893, in Texas. I can remember visiting "Grandma Lina", when I was young, most likely during the 1970's. At that time she lived in Oklahoma City, OK. And her husband was already deceased, at that time. They had one other son, my grandfathers brother, Billie J. Stewart. I believe he was born and died in Oklahoma. I would like to find more information on the STEWART family. I have not been able to find Obits or any information to help me. I would like to know more about my Great Grandfather, JAMES E. STEWART, who was born in Kentucky, but I feel spent much time, and possibly died in OKLAHOMA. If anybody out there can help me in any way, I would appre! ciate it. Thanks.
