Lavers Stewart, 75, of Springhill was buried Tuesday in Springhill Junction Cemetery, following funeral services in Brown's Funeral Home. Born in Rodney, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Stewart. Surviving are three daughters, Loretta (Mrs. Ellwin Wesch) and Evelyn(Mrs. Ralph Sutherland), both of Upper Economy; Eleanor (Mrs. Cedric Spence), Springhill; one son, Alexander, Cape Tormentine, N.B. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Ida Marion Boutilier.
