I have been searching for many years for any information on William Stewart who was probably born between 1760 and 1790. Where and When? He died before 18 October 1839 when his will was filed in Boone Co., Missouri. On February 14, 1810 in Fauquier County Virginia, he married Johanna Barnett who was born about 1791 probably in Fauquier County. Her parents, Ambrose Barnett and Judith Neville, appear to have lived their entire married life in Fauquier Co. VA. Johanna died before 26 September of 1842 when her will was filed in Boone Co., Missouri. William and Johanna listed all of their children: Lawson B, Townsend, Susan B, Silas, Amanda, Thomas Lewis, Alexander, and Thornton in their wills. Johanna and William are referenced as a daughter and her husband in legal documents relating to settlement of Ambrose Barnett's estate in Fauquier Co., VA.
