Today I received a newsletter from NEHGS that had a very interesting article about the digitalization of photos and records and leaving no paper trail. With expanding technology and the outdating of equipment and the possibility of budget cuts of institutions in the future that would prohibit or limit the change overs required, it is possible that our generation may well be "forgotten" to genealogists. Because of copyrights I chose not to copy and paste this article, but if there is a way to pass it on, it is a very thought provoking concept as well as possibly a reality for our records, both personal and public.
