Near end of article you will find this entry below: James Moore's first home was near Natural Bridge in Rockingham Co. (VA). His wife was Elizabeth Poage, and his eldest sister married Major Alexander Stuart of Rockbridge. His cousin, Samuel Walker visited Southwest Virginia, and from his glowing reports, Captain Moore, moved with his family to Abbs Valley. This Major Alexander Stuart b. 27AUG 1734 d. @1822 son of Archibald Stuart b. @ 1695 of Londonderry, Ire etc. d. 17 Nov 1761 Agusta Co Va is of the same Family Stewart.
