This Deponant--in frequent conversations with himself and Family--and this Deponant verily believes that the said Creek Indians did get and carry off and destroy the aforesaid property at the time and place aforesaid and further states that the said JOHN STEWART--DECEASED--and the said CHARLES STEWART DECEASED was citizens of this said STATE at the time of sustaining said loss or losses by the said Creek Indians and continued such until their decease and that them--nor their Heirs--nor assigns-never received any remuneration or compensation for the aforesaid losses of property taken--stolen--or destroyed by the said Creek Indians to the best of this DEPONANTS knowledge and belief.
