Family still in TN in 1840 per census. Sometime between 1848 and 1849 the family moved to Duck Creek Township, Stoddard County, Missouri. Lemuel Stewart purchased land patent #21211 for 179 acres, patent 16146 for 123.3 acres, and patten 25021 for 59.42 acres. All in Stoddard County, MO.
