I have two Stewart lines, one on my mother's side and one on my father's side. The Stewart listed here is from my father's side. The research was a combination of my own, Margy Grangers's and Teresa Stuart de Rios. John Stewart/Stuart, born 18 Jan 1757 in Amelia Co Virginia. Died about 1840 in Davidson North Carolina. There is a name change to Steward, and the line goes back to John Steward, born abt 1534 in Pateshull, Northants, , England and died 01 Aug 1577 Pateshull, Northants, , England. He married Jane Pigge, born abot Abt. 1517 in Floore, Northants, , England and died 26 Feb 1590/91 in Pateshull, Northants, England. I have LDS film number and reference number information.
