    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: scmfstewart Surnames: Stewart,Moore Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.stewart/9321/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Does anyone have access and copies or volumes of the Stewart Clan Magazine? I have index numbers and I am look for a Charles Stewart dob abt 1784 County Donegal,Ireland dod abt 1856 Richland County,Ohio. Story goes from documents I have found that Charles Stewart came to America at age 16 or abt 1799-1800( sadly I found out today that no ship records exist for this time) he came through Pennsylvania was there abt 5 years, where and what county don't know but possibly Lawrence County,PA he married Nancy Jane Moore in PA and then they show up more in Jefferson Co, Ohio abt 1814 and then onto Richland County,Ohio where they are in census records children John,James,Robert,Charles,Nancy,Martha,Margaret,Edward and Melissa. I have check newspapers, census records, found natualization record that does match form Richland, land records but can't pin point their PA ties. I believe him to be protestant. Possibly Presbyterian or Methodist, though his son James my direct relation was listed as a Baptist in a Wabash Co., IN bio I found on him. What I am hoping is someone in the genealogy Stewart world would have some idea. I am trying to find Charles parents or siblings. I am hope the Stewart Clan Magazine would help me or if anyone would have some ideas as I seem to have come to a brick wall any help I would be ever so thankful.
