Cpl. Jason S. Clairday, 21, of Camp, Ark. Cpl. Ian W. Stewart, 21, of Lake Hughes, Calif. Lance Cpl. Richard D. Warner, 22, of Waukesha, Wis. Clairday and Stewart died Dec. 12 as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Warner died Dec 13 from wounds received as a result of enemy action in Babil Province, Iraq. Clairday and Stewart were assigned to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. Warner was assigned to the Marine Corps Reserve’s 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, headquartered in Chicago, Ill.     3. Thursday, January 5, 1995 The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, N.S. WILLIAM A. STUART STUART, William A.- 91, Melrose, Mass., died January 4, 1995, in Louise Caroline Nursing Home, Saugus, Mass. Born May 1, 1903, in Cape Breton, he was a son of the late Alfred E. and Frances M. (McIvor) Stuart. He was a grandson of the late Dr. Alexander Stuart of Aspen, St. Mary's, Guysborough Co. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving in the Army and had later been employed by the U.S. army in Boston as an automobile mechanic from 1945-1970. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Melrose and the church's Barry Class. He had been a resident of Melrose since 1948. Surviving are his sister, Marjorie D. Gray, Dartmouth; nephews, David R. Gray, Donald E. Gray, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Marion Wambolt. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, Mass., Rev. Dr. Robert B. Wallace officating. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery.

Born in Birmingham, England, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Elizabeth Cameron. She had lived in Sherbrooke for the past few months, having lived most of her life in Cameron Settlement. She was a member of the United Church. She taught at numerous schools in both Guysborough and Pictou counties, before retiring. She was a member of the Women's Institute and Caledonia Home and School. She is survived by her husband, Alex; two sons, Ernest and James, both of Cameron Settlement; a daughter, Elizabeth MacPhee, Stewiacke; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant son.     3. Friday, March 22, 1979 The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, N.S. STEWART A. MacINTOSH SOUTH RIVER LAKE - Stewart Allistair MacIntosh, 59, of South River Lake, Antigonish County, died Tuesday on his farm following a tractor accident. Born in South River Lake, he was a son of the late Alexander Duncan and Nettie (Stewart) MacIntosh. He was a member of the Masonic Sunrise Lodge No. 116. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Christina MacDonald, South River Lake; a brother, Leslie, St. Catherines, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by a sister, Minnie Jean (Mrs. Gordon MacDonald). The remains are resting at Curry's Funeral Home, Antigonish. They will be transferred Friday to King's United Church, Loch Katrine. Funeral service will be in King's United Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to King's United Church Memorial fund. - possibly same newspaper.... Accident Victim Mourned Funeral services for the late Stewart MacIntosh, 59, of Loch Katrine, were held last Friday in King's United Church with Rev. Cyril Chaulk officating. Prior to Friday's service a Masonic service was held at Curry's Funeral home with 35 Masons participating. Mr. MacIntosh died on March 20 on his farm following a tractor accident. He was pinned under the farm tractor which upset when it struck a snow-covered pile of sand in his driveway. He was towing his pickup truck in order to get it started so he could attend a neighbor's funeral. Cameron Partridge who was helping Mr. MacIntosh contacted the RCMP and an ambulance. However when they extricated him he was pronounced dead. Born in Loch Katrine, he was a son of the late Alexander and Nettie (Stewart) Macintosh. He lived all his life on the family farm in Loch Katrine. He was a member of Kings United Church and a church elder for the past four years. He was a long-time member and a former Master of Sunrise Masonic Lodge, Antigonish. He is survived by one sister, Christine (Mrs. Gordon MacDonald), Loch Katrine; one brother, Leslie, St. Catherines, Ontario; several nieces and nephews; and two aunts and one uncle. He was predeceased by a sister Minnie Jean (Mrs. Gordon MacDonald). Pallbearers at Friday's service were Duncan Cameron, John MacNaughton, Stubbert MacHattie, Henry Nichols, Donald MacNeill and Robert MacNeill. Interment was in Loch Katrine cemetery.

    3. Am away from my data files and T. H. Stewart and Emma Logan don't ring any bells for Webster Co., MS. Will check my extensive files on Stewarts in this county and respond later. Have tracked the family of Charles Stewart (my gg-uncle) and children who moved into this area about 1844 and many descendants still reside there. The Springhill Cemetery is full of them including Charles.
