    2. Mary Kyritsis
    3. Don’t forget though that the magazine went on for many years after that, and has not yet been put online. The index given below will show that the Tomes went right up to Tome I – a long way past 1932. It went on until December 1970, when the editor died as the result of being hit by a car. Mary in Greece ___________ You wrote: Do you know about "The Stewart Clan Magazine"? The index is at http://users.hol.gr/~mkyritsi/, and the full text is at http://archive.org/stream/stewartclanmaga00incgoog/stewartclanmaga00incgoog_djvu.txt, or as a free e-book on Google Play. The genealogy as far as it was know during the decade of publication (1922-32) was published in installments.

My main focus is on Olney F. Stewart Sr. since I can't seem to find much about him other than him being born 03 Apr 1896 in Arkansas and died on 12 Apr 1986, possibly in Arkansas as well. I did look at the Stewart Clan Magazine, but only found reference to Katherine Junck, my 5th great grandmother. However, I haven't fully and throughly gone through it. Author: index4u Surnames: Stewart Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.stewart/9373.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Great to hear from you! I have often wondered what became of Sheldon's children, as we often visited your family and brought my grandfather, J. B. Stewart, to call on an elderly gentlemen who lived a little way up the road from your farm. I was never clear on his name or his connection to the family, though. My full name is Marianna Stewart, but if you remember me at all it is probably by my nickname, Ranna. My parents were Earl and Peg (Wood) Stewart. Our fathers seemed to be good friends, as well as relatives, but I was never clear on that relationship, either. I am beginning to suspect that William F. Stewart might have been descended from the Frederick Stewart family who settled in what is now Campbell. This suspicion is based mostly on the names of Frederick's sons, William and Frederick. I have yet to locate a birth or baptism record for my great-grandfather, though, except for a probably inaccurate entry in the family Bible, so can't prove or disprove the hypothesis. Unfortunately, the census didn't begin recording names of everyone in each household until after he would have been out on his own. His first appearance in the census shows him as a young man living in the Town of Erwin with another family, probably as a boarder, and working as a sawyer. There's still a lot of work to be done on the genealogy for this branch of the family, and I'm so glad that others are working on it, too! I am Sheldon A Stewarts daughter and am living on a part of the farm you referred to in your post. I am interested in any info you have found concerning William Stewart as we have found little info about him. I have walked to the spot where he lived many times and my younger sister Sharon now owns that part of the farm. I had always thought that I would delve into genealogy of the Stewart family after I retired. I have taken notes of the family from what my father, Sheldon could remember. He didn't know much about William except where he lived. His memories were of the 2 generations after William. I would be very much interested in any info you have found. We have a Stewart Reunion every year , which includes my 3 siblings and Sheldon's sister 3 children and families. We know of no other descendants and so it was amazing to read your post! I hope you are still involved with this research as your post was several years ago.
