Wednesday, July 21, 1937 The Halifax Chronicle, Halifax, N.S. D. J. Stewart LOWER MONTAGUE, P.E.I., July 20 - D.J. Stewart, well-known farmer and fruit grower of this district, died yesterday. He was 68. [his age may have been 88, it was hard to read] Following his graduation from Prince of Wales college he was engaged in teaching and later took up farming. He was a frequent prize-winner at provincial exhibitions. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Wrightman of Lower Montague. The late Hon. J. D. Stewart, former premier of Prince Edward Island, was a brother.

Bryson, passed away on Monday, July 07, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, she was a daughter of Barbara (Rivers) Baird-Santoro and the late George Baird. Jeb taught school for 33 years, mostly in the Rothesay District, and retired in 1999 from Kennebecasis Valley High School. She was an esteemed educator, much loved and respected by her colleagues and students. A lover of nature, Janet enjoyed taking long walks; she was a tireless volunteer for both the New Brunswick Museum and the Canadian Cancer Society. Jeb's incredible grace and generosity of spirit created a circle within which every friend was made to feel valued and treasured. Those she counted as friends felt blessed. In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by her children, Joanna, Geoffrey (Melissa Sleigh), and Maggie, all of Saint John; her mother, Barbara Baird-Santoro (Ovid) of Bristol; a brother, T! om Baird (Caroline) of Sarnia, Ontario; a sister, Lyn Baird of Syracuse, New York; a granddaughter, Samantha Marie Bryson; several nieces and nephews; life-long friend, Sandra Dodds; special friends, Maxine and Mary; and finally, her beloved dog, Rocky. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will then take place at Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, on Friday from 2 to 4 PM, followed by the graveside service at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Perth-Andover. Now Margaret Ann Bennett she had 4 Children Bertha, Leslie, Henry & Irene?. Margaret Ann dies in 1954, Henry Isaac Bennett / Thomas Henry Barrett now married Mary Hignett in February 1921 in Sydney, NSW. T.H.Barrett died in Jan 1941. If you can make heads or tails out of this I would be very pleased. But I am trying to find out any earlier details of Thomas Stewart & Caroline Jenner. I have a death certificate for Margaret Ann Bennett 1954. Margaret Ann was Margaret Ann Stewart then Margaret Ann McKay, then Margaret Ann Bennett, at this stage I don't know happened prior to WW1 as Henry Bennett went to France, he was wounded in Augu! st 1916, returned to Australia, he server under 4056 Pte H Bennett, 13 Battalion, then a gap his service records show he changed his name about 1920 & re-married went to Tasmania had 2 Children My Aunty Kit & father Walter Joseph Barrett & so on.........................
