AR Census for 1850. According to that Census he was born abt 1805 and states that he was born in NC. I find several Stephens in the Wake Co. NC in the 1840 Census, but none matching my Garrett. In 1800 I found Jarrett in Hillsborough, Wake Co. NC. Then in 1790 I found Jarrot in Chatham Co. NC. I wonder if this might be the father or another close relative to my Garrett. I would appreciate anything that you may have on this family.
