Census shows he was born in NC about 1805. I found a Jarrot Stephens in the Census for 1790 in Chatham Co. NC. Then I found a Jarrett Stephens in 1800 Census of Hillsborough, Wake Co. NC. Do you have any knowledge of any of these? Thanks for any info you may have.
