Hi everyone, I am new to the list and am trying to find the parents and siblings of George STEVENS and his wife Mary KING. I would also like to find the person who posted those names on the IGI to see if we are connected. George STEVENS, b. about 1801 Somerset Co., England, m. unknown date and place, Mary KING, b. bet. 1800-1803 Chew Magna, Somerset Co., England. The 1841 census has them living together in Barrow Gurney, Somerset Co. The 1851 and 1861 census shows Mary still living there and she said she was still married but George wasn't there. I can't find either one of them in the other census' after that. Their children I know about are: Samuel STEVENS, b. 1821-22 Barrow Gurney, Somerset Co., England, died 1870, married 1841 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, Elizabeth HYNAM. George STEVENS, b. about 1826, Barrow Gurney, Somerset Co., Eng. Mary STEVENS, b. about 1826, Somerset Co., England. William STEVENS, b. 1828-29, Barrow Gurney, Somerset Co., Eng. Thomas STEVENS, b. 1830, Barrow Gurney, Somerset Co., England, immigrated to Ontario, Canada, then to USA, died 1912 in California, USA, married 1852 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, Louisa Elizabeth STOKES. James STEVENS, b. 1829-1832, in Barrow Gurney. John STEVENS, b. 1835-36 in Barrow Gurney, died 1883, married Harriet Ann MARSHALL or MARSHALE. Hester STEVENS, b. 1837-38 in Barrow Gurney.
