Stevens, 87, of Castalian Springs died on Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Born on January 27, 1918, the Sumner County native was the daughter of the late Vernie and Thurman Stephens. She was retired from Sun Trust. She is survived by: niece, Linda (Walter) Allen, nephew, Glenn (Gayl) Hinton; great-nieces, Karen (Kevin) Hughes, Sherry (Mike) Parker, Sonja (Paul) Waggoner, Megan Allen and Melissa Sego; great-nephews, Eric (Amy) Allen, Bryan Carter, Joshua Allen, and Jacob Allen; eight great-great-nieces; three great-great-nephews; and special friends, Margaret Hoffman, Dawnyell Rangel, and Sheren Golob. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 13, 2006 at Wilkinson-Wiseman Funeral Home. Interment was at Mitchellville General Baptist Church Cemetery.
