She was the daughter of William and Rebecca Stevens. She married Sands Randall c. 1867. Their first child, Augusta Mae was born in Shirley on 12 Oct. 1867. Rose's sister, Mary , who was born in 1847, married Sands' older Brother Alonzo. Family legend is that the Stevens sisters were half Native American, but I have never been able to verify this.
