Floyd Thomas Stevens shows up in the Michigan death records with a death date of July 12, 1918 in Sodus, Barrian, MI. 1930 Kentucky US census shows a John L. Stevens age 42 living in Rockport, Ohio Co., Kentucky along with wife Murtie B. age 36 with their children Vaneta C. age 12, Floyd T. age 10, Edwin L. age 8, Ruthn age 6, Chilton age 2 9/12. That would put John L. born 1888. The only John Stevens born in 1888 shows up in the 1900 Kentucky Census in Maddox, Carter Co., Kentucky with parents Greenville age 42 and Frances age 37 Stevens and 9 silbings. I have no idea if this is your family or not but might be something to look at.
