A native of Yonkers, NY, she moved here from Yonkers in 1987. She was a member of Silver Springs Presbyterian Church where she was involved with the Women's Club and volunteer programs. She was a member and former Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughters, Vera Jean Hess, West Haverstraw, NY, and Charlene "Sherry" Meyer, Ocala; sons, Leonard C Barry Jr, Avondale, AZ, and Joseph G Barry, Stony Point, NY; sisters, Barbara Smith, Bristol, CT., Arlene Cecchini, Sussex, NJ., and Gail "Nicki" Apicella, Mahopac, NY; brothers, Leonard Lotz, Athens, NY and Charles Lotz, Sebring; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph G Barry, Sr., and by her second husband, Robert F Stevens, Jr. Memorial contributions maay be made to the Silver Springs Shores Fire and Rescue Department.
