Benjamin Franklin STEVENS b. 29 July 1837; d. ???? Pat Have you checked the land records in MO to see when he purchased his first piece of land. I know many of records in MO were destoryed in some counties. I suggest you search the KY 1830 Census Index for STEVENS, STEPHENS, STEPHENSON and STEVENSON. The only ones you will want to check are those families that have a child or children 0-10. I know it is had work but it may pay off. Did you check to see if you could an obituary? I found John Brown STEVENS that way. Many family traveled together as they moved westward. How many KY families were living in James D. STEPHENS area? I was searching for my GG Wm.J. CAMPBELL and I found a deed that said he was in Sumter Co., AL. When I got the census records I found my KERR family was also living there. I wish you luck
