They all seem to come from the villages of Boughton under Blean and Dunkirk. My Grandfather Henry Stevens moved to Mansfield around 1910 and into the coal mines. I have got back as far as Thomas Stevens born c1770 in Kent and married to Mary Brown. He would be my G/G/G/Grandfather. My G/G/ Grandfather Thomas Stevens born 1811 at Boughton under Blean and married to Ellen Branchett 1835 was Transported to Tasmania in 1844 for stealing pigs.
