The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Harvey Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born in Montgomery County on March 30, 1937, daughter of the late Stayton Black and Mable Huggins Black. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Black. Mrs. Stevens was a Deli Manager at Winn Dixie and was a Baptist. Survived by her husband, Richard Stevens; sons, Bobby Burns, Randy Burns and a stepdaughter, Diana Lynn Goodreau, all of Clarksville. Other survivors are brother, Robert Black; sisters, Dottie Hooten and Opal Gamblin, all of Clarksville, and Robbie Sue Tuttle of Murfreesboro; and grandchild Stephanie Burns. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
