Dear Susan: My James D. Stephens/Stevens was born in KY about 1827 and married in Morgan Co., MO about 1848 and moved to Miller Co. MO before 1860. Would your book by chance have anyone resembling those facts? I lost James, his wife Sarah, and two of their children after the Civil War. The 1850 census for Morgan Co. had a John Stevens also born in KY who could possibly be the Father of James.
