See Obit on her biological mother who recently passed away. Article published Feb 20, 2007 in the Marion Ohio Starr Weltha E. Stevens-Craven MARION - Weltha E. Stevens-Craven, age 74, of 400 Delaware Ave., died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus. She was born on June 15, 1932, in Grayson, Ky., to the late William and Mary (Gibson) Caskey. She was a member of Kingdom Connection and former member of the Rotary Towers band. She worked at MARCA Industries and worked at various nursing homes throughout Marion as a nurse's aid. She was a resident of Marion for over 20 years and a prior resident of Ashland, Ky. She is survived by six daughters, Rebecca Louise Stevens, Oralee Stevens, Mary Frances Stevens, Pearl Ann Stevens, Barbara Flo Stevens, Patricia Sue Stevens-Reynolds; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Caskey. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Homer Stevens and Donald Craven; one brother; and two sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Marion Mausoleum with Pastor Tom Brammer officiating. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Boyd Funeral Home. Family tradition says that Homer's mother was Cherokee. Any information would be appreciated.
