Hi David and all Stevens, I found the original message from David and find that his last name was Merrill, not Stevens. My lousy memory. So my Obediah was perhaps born in Beesontown, PA. He died in Texas a month after his son, Hanson and family arrived in the Willamette Valley, OR. from Keokuk, IA where he and his brother operated the family store along the Mississippi River.Now I am wondering if David Merrill is out there. Also has anyone found any more info on this Obediah?
