There is some confusion as to what happened to him. He is my great grandfather. I have him on the 1880 census in Oaklahoma with, presumably, his second wife, Ruth and children, ALice, George and a stepson, John. I assume he died there. I am trying to locate the correct Thomas Stevens from Ohio - there are tons of them - most probably all related in one fashion or another. At this census, he is 71 and Ruth is 58.
