Hi Jane, I don't know David Merrill, but I've enjoyed getting to know Obediah's family these past few days. I found many land records in Indiana for an Obediah, but I don't know enough about him to connect to these land records. I was surprised at what I found about Stevens / Stephens in Indiana and so I made a copy of every one of those records. Did Obediah's parents move to Indiana also ?
