Stevens and his wife, Elizabeth J. Maloney Pardue Dowdy Stevens, who were married in Stoddard County, Missouri 26 Oct 1893. I know nothing about David, but Elizabeth was born in Greene County, TN abt. 1832, married John T. Pardue in Obion County, TN 16 Jan 1856; Allen Dowdy, Stoddard County, MO on 11 Jul 1875 and then David S. Stevens on the 1893 date, after which I have found no trace of them. Elizabeth did have a sister, Nancy Ann Maloney Blackshear, widow of John C. Blackshear, who was also living in Stoddard County, MO at about the time of Elizabeth's marriage to David Stevens. She also had siblings remaining in TN at that time. I would love to hear from anyone with information regarding where these two may have gone following their 1893 marriage.
