Hello Glatz's ! Today, I am searching for all Stevens mentioned in recent posts. So, if you've found anything new, please let me have it. And I'm not completely ruling out Parker STEVENS. I show him with Roxanne HULL (Is she a sister or another name for Concurrence ??) Anybody else who wants to repost updated info on searches, I'm adding lots of new names this week. I've found about 40 STEVENS / STEPHENS books that I've never seen before, and a few I've quite familure with, so let me know what I can do for you. I'm finding more on Obediah STEVENS And I'm looking for John Columbus "CC" STEVENS. JJ & JD STEVENS, too. I am also searching for Mary "Polly" STEVENS b. Oct 1813 and the daughter of Thomas & Dorcas DORR STEVENS. Said to possibly marry John MILLER, then disappeared.

David: Who is the J.D. Stevens you mention? My James D. Stevens (Stephens in the census') was born in KY either in 1830 or 1827. In the 1850 census he is in Morgan Co., MO with wife Sarah and one year old son John. In this census it looks like James is 20 years old and Sarah 23. In the 1860 census they are in Miller Co., MO and it shows James to be 33 and Sarah 33. I am assuming James was lost in the Civil War as I haven't found him after then or Sarah and the two younger children, James T. and Rebecca. John and brother Joseph are found in Taney Co., MO living with the Coggburn family.
