I suspect more than a few of these Joseph's are the same person, but without a wife or burial place or parents it's hard to guess. Where is your Joseph buried ?

Hi David: Regarding the Joseph Stephens', I sent you my Stevens/Stephens family(James D.) awhile back but I don't remember if it was before I got information on his son Joseph. This Joseph we are pretty sure is the son of James D. and brother of John J. Stevens/Stephens. JOSEPH WARREN STEPHENS was born 1 Apr 1855 Morgan County, Missouri, died 2 Feb 1893 in Jackson County, Arkansas. He married SARAH ANN ASHER 2 Nov 1873 in Texas County, Missouri, daughter of DAVID ASHER and MARY STARK. She was born 29 June 1856 in Texas Co., MO and died 17 Sept 1946 Pampa, Gray Co., TX. Children of JOSEPH W. STEPHENS & SARAH ANN ASHER: CHARLES STEPHENS, b./ Aug 1875 WILLIAM I., b. July 1880 DELILAH J., b. Jan 1883 DORCAS P., b. June 1886 SARAH E., b. Sep. 1887 LOUISA E., b.
