    3. According to the family history. Jonathan Stevens came to Schenectady NY along with a Thos. Smith when he was 18 yrs old. He married Leah van Slyck Von Coppernol (widow of Claes Willem Von Coppernol- they had a son Willem. Claes died in the Schenectady Massacre in 1690) . Leah married Jonathan in 1693 and they had 4 children, Henricus( Nicholas), Arent, Dina( married Hagadorn) and Annetje( married another Hagadorn), I have ,too, found numerous Jonathnas and have visited many places trying to find info on my Jonathan..no cemetary exists with either of them. Tho it states that he was from New England..I have looked everywhere and find no Jonathan..with a 1675 birthday, that isn't accounted for. Many of the family researchers want to make him the Jonathan who married in Ct..I have the will from him and it is NOT our Jonathan....soooooooooooo I'd look anywhere that you might think will give me an answer. I have noticed that you often have info at the bottom of your emails that have our ( Kathy Shouse's site) noted.....so I assume that you have visited our site and seen what info we offer. I look forward to hearing from you TIA Lissa
