I am trying to find family of a Nancy Porter Powell, b. 1830. I think I found her living in Beaver Falls, PA, in the household of a B. Stevens, in 1880. She is described as his sister, but I'm thinking it's sis-in-law, as James Porter is in the home, too, listed as bro-in-law. I'm wondering if this B. Stevens was married to a Porter sister ( he is marked as married, but no wife in the listing). Nancy carried a gene for blindness, any of her sisters may have, too.
