As I remember from some earlier correspondence with a Stevens family member I was told that Elizabeth and Stanford did indeed have a son named Fred and after Stanford's death Elizabeth married Daniel Stevens. Later on she and Daniel Stevens had a son together and they named him Fred also. That was what the Stevens person told me who was a descendent from that Fred Stevens. Glad you jogged my memory.
