Does Anyone have a connection to William STEVENS/ STEPHENS/STEPHENSON b ca 1800 in either VT or NY? I cannot find anything on his Parents or where he was born. Then next place I have him is in Fayette Co IL on the 1830 census. Family history says and his son's Civil war papers say that he married a Nancy ANDERSON and she was from Tennessee.
