Robert and 7 brothers fought for the Confederacy, he and 5 brothers in the 60th NC Regiment. All brothers returned home with experiences of wounds and or capture. Robert d. 01.07.1925 and was survived by a son (James Edgar)a daughter (Mrs. Albert Reed) and a sister (Mrs. N. Penland) Offered as a courtesy - not of my family line.
