Hello 'Cousin' David Stevens, I am in search of a : Merle [aka: "Merlin"] Carey STEVENS Actually, I am interested in where this individual's final resting place is. ---He just might appear on a Census using his 'aka' monicker. The time-space element, however, would be after 1930---when he disappeared in 1933 from South Carolina. I know there was no Federal Census after 1930---but I do know there were State Census of some type during the period just before WW2. I have the 1900, 1910, and the 1920 Census showing his name. ----Helpful identity of this individual: 1. [never had a Social Security Number issued to him] 2. born 1895 Rock Mills, Alabama 3. telegraph operator, Postal Telegraph, Atlanta, GA 4. stock market "ticker reader", 5. Mgr. Fenner & Beane office in Atlanta, GA during 1920s. 6. [never had a driver's license] 7. [never owned property or was a property tax payer] 8. [never had a photograph of him for identification] 9. [did not attend a public or private school] 10. [no record as a tax-payer of the United States of America Yes. I need a "Census" lookup for this individual---and if his name appears on any record that I have missed in the "Top 10" above---I would be greatly appreciative of anyone who could supply me with a lead as to where this individual wound up. Oh yes, I have also searched various Death Records throughout the 13 Southeastern States---to no avail. ---Thanks in advance, ----Professor Marley Stevens momo7@sover.net\ =============================== David Stevens wrote: >Does anybody need a census lookup today ? > >------------------------------- >To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to STEVENS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > >
