I was a fan of the DNA X testing when I first heard about it. Now, the Y testing is even more exciting, but if testing showed I was related to my own research (or possibly NOT), or if I was related to Richard Steevens or Henry Stevens or Peter Stephens of VA or John Stevens of NY, or John Stevens of NJ, I'd still have no clue how to connect my Thomas Stevens to them. I'm ready to be tested, though testing will probably confirm that my parents really did find me in the garden one morning. Then you'd see me hawking my Stevens database on e-Bay. :-) DS On 7/13/07, barry-gayla@juno.com <barry-gayla@juno.com> wrote: > David, > The idea of a Stevens "database" is a great idea. I seem to be stymied in my research. My line seems to appear in Brown County, Ohio in the early 1800's and then we just dissipate through the years. > Barry Stevens > Winnsboro, Louisiana > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to STEVENS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
