The Fred Elias Stevens family. Fred's wife is Martha Ellen Jontra or Janten in some records, apparently. Their children on census are Clara b Jul 1886 Kansas Clifford b Jan 1890 Kansas, Lester b Aug 1894 Kansas Archie b May 1899 Kansas Rheva P. Apr 1904 Kansas Layton H. b Apr 1910 Texas I am concerned about Clifford being Joseph Clifford born in Jan 1891 instead of what is on census, Jan 1890 I am looking for a Clifford Roy Stevens born on Jan 1890 and married Mary Ellen Hanes. He was a cook and died in Elko, Nevada from alcoholism. I also have a copy of his draft registration and his birth is Jan 19, 1889 which is off a year, but he could have lied about his age.
