I am researching John Stevens/Stephens who appears in Hamilton county, Ohio in 1850. He was born about 1810 in Indiana and I think he has at least 3 children from a first marriage, Edward, Joseph and Elizabeth - all born in Indiana between 1825 and 1830. In 1850 he is living with his second wife and more children all born between 1844 and 1850 in Ohio. So I started documenting all the John Stephens in 1840 and 1830 in Indiana and southwest Ohio in hope of narrowing the search. I made a page that lists the census record for each John Stevens/ Stephens/ Stevenson/ Stephenson in 1830 and 1840. Since I already compiled this information I am sharing it and hopefully someone else can use it. * I did not proof it, so if you notice an error, please let me know. * When there was no females, I put a number of '0's there - I did not leave someone out of those entries. * I did not put '0's all the way across for any entries - there's enough data there as it is. * One page was missing. * I left my own comments there - I use 'Junior' and 'Senior' sparingly - they may not really be Junior and Senior unless it is listed under 'Name'. This is for ALL of Indiana and ONLY southwest Ohio: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~charliecox/stevens/john-stephens-1830-1840.html btw, I still haven't found my John Stevens, but now I have a lot more data :) Here is the page about my John Stevens: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~charliecox/stevens/ Charlie
