All were born in Indiana with Indiana parentage. Robert was 25 and Dorrie 25...married 3 years. Dorie was the mother of two children, and two were still alive. In 1920, Robert and Dorie are both now 35 with children Jennie 12, katherine 10, CURTIS 9 and Mildred 6. The census was taken in Jan of 1920, so Curtis probably hadn't had his birthday yet. Next door in both censuses was an Oscar Stevens. In 1910 he was 27, born Indiana with mother, Nancy, b INdiana age 49 mother of 4 children,4 alive. Her parents were born in Kentucky. In 1920, Oscar is a single man living next door to Robert and Dorie....age 40 b Indiana. Nancy could be also Robert's mother...or she could be his aunt. I haven't determined that yet. I haven't found Robert in 1900 yet...but this gets you a bit further. If I find anything else, I will post.
