She was married to Reverend Chester Arthur Shelton that lived in Carter County Kentucky for many years. He passed away in about 1971 in a Nursing home in Hendersville North Carolina. My mother was Ines Shelton Maddox and she had three brothers and they were Chester Shelton from Columbus Ohio and Roy Shelton from Cincinnati Ohio and Reverend Raymond Shelton from High Point North Carolina. I am trying to find any information about the shelton family and especially my grandmother because I have never seen a photo of my grandmother and my mother never had one because it got destroyed in a fire.
